authors and creatives

I partner with authors, self-published writers and publishers on fiction and non-fiction manuscripts. I predominantly edit memoir and fiction, but also really enjoy editing poetry and picture storybooks.

corporate and community

I work with government, NGO and business clients — including CALD writers — on a variety of projects including annual reports, strategies, tender submissions, manuals, newsletters and web content. In addition to copyediting and proofreading, I often also get asked to tidy up formatting or rework a document to apply plain English.

If you work with words, let’s team up!

I consider myself a very good writer, but then I see Steph’s edits and think, ‘Yeah, that is better’.
— Ben Grounds

Stephanie provided practical and useful suggestions to make a content-heavy document simple to read whilst maintaining the detail of the complex issues being presented – a challenging task!

— Teneille Summers

Steph helped me convey my exact thoughts and feelings concisely and in a way that could really connect with my target audience.
